An Introduction of Sorts

Oh ... hey there. ::awkward pause:: 

So, this is my official "hello" to the blogging world, and I would like to take a moment to thank you for bearing witness to this momentous occasion. 

As an introduction of sorts, I'll elaborate on myself a bit. This might be the only time I really talk about myself a lot, mostly because I find any attention to be boarder line painful and talking about myself nearly impossible.

My name is Chelsea and I'm a craft addict. If my hands aren't moving then I'm probably either very tired or uninspired, and I'm still unsure as to which is worse (but leaning towards uninspired, because, heck, naps cure tiredness, nothing cures creative blocks) . 

I've been knitting since 2003, Crocheting since around 2009 and crafting in general since I can remember. 

One of my favorite things about making stuff, is the fact that I know how it works, how it fits together and you can design pretty much anything with a little ingenuity and elbow grease. My obsession with how things work, has been a recurring theme in my life since I've been able to get my hands on things to dismantle ... and then at times unsuccssessfully put back together.

I love movies, music and books, which is probably the most general and expected thing anyone could ever say about themselves in regards to how they like to spend their free time. So, you could incur from that information, that I am also extremely original. I am also, at times, extremely sarcastic, which may or may not translate to written text depending on if you "speak" sarcasm. Hint: my statement about being original was sarcastic. 

If you were to ask me to describe myself in three words, I would probably just open and close my mouth, while looking very panicked. Because, that is a terribly difficult question to answer and almost impossible to do in under 3 minutes.

Well ... here's that awkward pause again, where I've run out of things to say. I suppose this is goodbye then?
